Statute of the Patriotic Doctors Group for Cooperation During the Transition Period
Preamble
The Patriotic Doctors Group was established based on a commitment to freedom, human dignity, and the health of the people of Iran, with the aim of supporting the medical community and the public during the transitional period following the Islamic Republic.
Committed to three fundamental principles—
- territorial integrity,
- secular democracy, and
- universal human rights—
and recognizing the right of the Iranian people to determine the future form of their democratic system, the group declares its cooperation with Prince Reza Pahlavi within the framework of national programs for Iran’s future.
Article 1 – Name of the Group
The name of this association is:
“Patriotic Doctors Group”
Article 2 – Objectives
- Cooperation and coordination to provide medical and healthcare services during the transition period, as well as supporting national cooperation under the leadership of Prince Reza Pahlavi in order to establish modern healthcare and medical structures
- Upholding the principles of medical ethics, maintaining clinical neutrality, and adhering to professional standards during sensitive conditions in the country
- Utilizing the credibility and standing of Iranian-origin physicians and healthcare professionals in host countries to convey the voice of Iran’s freedom-seekers to the global public and to strengthen national solidarity
- Promoting knowledge, exchange of experience, and supporting Iranian-origin physicians and the younger generation in their scientific and professional development
- Participating in humanitarian activities and providing medical assistance to patients and those affected in Iran and at the international level
Article 3 – Membership
- Membership is open to physicians, nurses, and healthcare personnel
- Members are committed to maintaining professional dignity and adhering to the principles of this statute
Article 4 – Obligations of Members
- Voluntary participation in medical and healthcare projects during the transition period
- Moral and practical support for the national programs of Prince Reza Pahlavi in the field of healthcare
- Observance of ethical principles, patient confidentiality, and respect for human rights
Article 5 – Structure and Coordination
- The group is governed in a council-based manner, with decisions made by majority vote
- Coordination will be carried out, within the framework of this statute, with the office or appointed representatives of Prince Reza Pahlavi
